Books about real-life challenges and real-life faith….
Thank you for visiting! If you were with me in person, I’d offer you a cup of coffee or tea and my homemade scones. My kids love them. But for now, please make yourself at home on my website. I hope you’ll enjoy browsing around. More is coming, so please check back.
For now, you’ll discover that God and my family are everything to me. He is my hope and they are my inspiration. That’s why I love the characters in my books. My books are about real-life challenges and real-life faith. My debut novel, Shattered Guilt, released on June 15, 2021.
Please browse my website and I’ll share with you my family traditions and antics through funny and endearing photos and tell-alls. We have some simple family favorite recipes, as well. Let me know if you want the Scone recipe…yum.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.Romans 15:13
I am an Okinawan-American. Born in Okinawa, raised in California, Florida, Mississippi, and Singapore. I’m a Pastor’s wife, a retired homeschooling mom, and now I’m blessed to add author to my bio. I love God. I love life, and I love my family. I count every blessing and every hardship as a gift. Through tears and laughter, anguish, and joy, God has never, ever forsaken me. And to Jesus, I am eternally grateful.
By grace, my husband and I have been married 47 years (in 2021). Through a tumultuous beginning, the wild boy I married became the electrifying man of my dreams…I’m still working on becoming the woman of his. God’s not done with me yet.
We homeschooled our eight children, they’ve graduated from college, seven married to godly spouses and raising families in Japan, Washington, and California. We enjoy having our youngest back at home with us. She keeps us young! God’s blessings astound us with 16 grandchildren. Presently, three more are coming, as of this posting. Our ethnically diverse background and family of 31 plus personalities provide inspiration to share God’s amazing love amidst the challenges of real life. That’s why we’re all here. To encourage one another for God’s glory.
Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.”Psalm 127:3-5 NIV
I write to use the gifts God has given me and to express my gratefulness for His blessings of family and life. I write to encourage the body of Christ, to live for Him, whether through blessings, hardships, or tragedy, and I hope to spur on the worship of God with our whole heart, soul, and mind. To exemplify how to grow in Christ through His Word, prayer, and relationships is the goal.
Through my stories, I pray I might inspire all believers to live God’s purpose in exalting, glorifying, and magnifying His holy name. And that we might teach one another to trust Him by denying ourselves, by placing Him and others above ourselves, and to live for the promised hope of eternity with Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. I aspire that we all would share his incredible promise with the world.
