Interesting Facts about Revived Hope
Although I wrote it after Shattered Guilt, Revived Hope is Melanie’s story before she moves to Bay Town. It’s very endearing to me and as suspenseful as it is, it’s the family unity of faith that I love. It releases on October 19, on my husband’s birthday! So please come back to check my blog posts and celebrate with me.
If you don’t already have Shattered Guilt, please pick up a copy and check out Charlene’s story. It’s a bonus in the back of that book. The short story, “Flight” features Melanie’s older sister Charlene. It’s a fast-paced, harrowing tale of her exploits while fighting to rescue a trafficking victim. Will she succeed? You’ll want to find out!

Fearless Courage
Even though Charlene is a minor character, I love her fearless courage, and it’s a virtue that I keep hoping to develop in my life. Especially when God puts hurting people in my path that don’t know him. So many desperate people need to hear the truth and receive the hope of Jesus Christ, but so many are reluctant. I guess where that’s where the fearless courage comes in. That, and as always prayer.

I’m thankful that I don’t need to depend on my own strengths, and that it’s the Lord I can count on. God equips us to do His work here on earth. We just need to be willing. A supple, pliable nature is putty in His hands, and although that’s not the prettiest picture, I do love the feel of stretching and kneading dough, which is much like putty! And who better to do that stretching and kneading than the Lord God Almighty. After all, our desire is to bring Him glory right? So relax, He’s got you in His hands.
